The name “Mtirala” means “weeping” or “crying mountain” and refers to the area's exceptionally wet climate, frequent rain and mist. The park is famous for its lush Colchic forests, waterfalls, mountain streams and rich biodiversity. Visitors can enjoy marked hiking trails, picnic and camping areas and a tourist shelter. The Tsablnari Waterfall and mountain lake are among the park’s main attractions. Horse riding, a rope park and zipline are also available for visitors looking for more active experiences.
