Description
Adjarabet Arena (Batumi Arena) is a modern stadium in Batumi (Georgia), opened on October 27, 2020. The capacity is 20,000 seats. It is the home arena of the Dinamo football club (Batumi) and periodically hosts matches of the Georgian national football and rugby teams. The project was developed by the Turkish company Bahadir Kul Architects. The architectural feature is the facade of panels in the form of overlapping scales, inspired by the traditional Georgian khorumi dance. At night, the stadium is effectively illuminated. The stadium corresponds to the UEFA category 4 and is equipped with a natural lawn. In 2023, the final of the UEFA European Championship among youth teams (under 21) was held here.
