The waterfall is located in the Abanotubani district (Old Tbilisi), one of the city's most historic neighborhoods. It is often associated with the Leghvtakhevi Gorge, also known as the Fig Gorge. What makes this place unique is that it is one of the few waterfalls situated right in the heart of a large city. The waterfall is approximately 22 meters high. While it is not among Georgia's tallest waterfalls, its remarkable atmosphere and picturesque surroundings more than make up for its modest height. At the bottom of the gorge flows the Tsavkistskali River. It passes through the Tbilisi Botanical Garden, continues along the canyon, and eventually empties into the Mtkvari (Kura) River.

Imagine walking along a metal grid while a river roars beneath your feet at a depth of 150 meters. This is the Okatse Canyon in the Imereti region, a place where nature and engineering have created an attraction for true adrenaline junkies. The highlight is a nearly one-kilometer-long suspension bridge built into the rock, which ends at a cross-shaped observation deck hovering over the abyss. The view is breathtaking, but you'll have to walk along a swaying structure, looking down through the grid. Useful information: 50 km from Kutaisi, 20 lari for tourists. Important: Children under 12 years old and those below 120 cm in height are not allowed due to safety concerns!
